Hi everyone! Welcome to the Eat Like Me blog! I'm Emma- a Nutrition major & kind of a health nut! I'm really into eating healthy & nourishing my body. It amazes me how much food can really affect your life and change the way you feel. I've been into healthy eating since I was a teen and I wanted to share my interest with all of you! I'll admit that I have days when I do not make the best food choices but my goal is to just get back on track and stay healthy as often as I can. Of course, eating healthy doesn't mean I don't get to enjoy my food. There are lots of flavorful, healthy foods & recipes, and even desserts! Almond Butter (Lunch 9.22.10)

It's the first day of autumn and it's 80 degrees! I feel like it's the middle of August, not almost October. Just last week I was waking up to frost on my car, now it's back to air conditioning! Today for lunch I had packed an almond butter & jelly sandwich on 10 grain bread with an apple. I noticed this morning when I was making my lunch that I had run out of peanut butter, so I switched it up and used the organic almond butter I had in the fridge. It does taste different than peanut butter, but I like it every so often. Plus it's really good for you and peanut butter gets old sometimes. When I got home this afternoon I had one of my Trader Joe's healthy whole wheat blueberry bran muffins (which are actually quite large) and a strawberry Greek yogurt. I have a lot of work to do tonight so dinner will probably be something simple.
